Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

Lets get into our recap for last nights selections, starting in the NBA where Golden State continues its recent hot streak, beating the Brooklyn Nets 121-119 but failing to cover our GS -10 selection. Steph Curry hit 7 threes and scored a total of 40 points to fuel Golden State to the win. Golden State has now won 10 of the last 12 games. After that, the Lakers defeated the Knicks 113-109 in overtime, hitting our Lakers -3.5 pick. The Lakers have hugely improved since adding Luka Doncic to no surprise, winning 14 of their last 16 games. The Knicks led by 8 points midway through the 4th quarter but couldn't hold off Luka and Lebron who both scored over 30 points in the game.

In our college basketball selections last night, #8 Michigan State rallied to beat Iowa 91-84, but blew past our under 152 pick on the game. Our selection was in a great spot after the first half as Iowa led 37-30, but Michigan State went crazy in the second half, scoring 61 points in the final 20 minutes of gametime. Michigan State clinched the Big10 regular season title with the win. In our other college basketball selection, Cleveland State defeated Northern Kentucky 68-63, hitting our Cleveland State -4 selection for the game. Cleveland State moves on in the Horizon league conference championship and will play again Monday in the semi finals, fighting for a chance to get a bid in the tournament.

In our lone hockey pick of the night, the Nashville Predators beat the Seattle Kraken 5-3, hitting our Nashville ML pick on the game. The Predators got a huge 2nd period, scoring 3 unanswered goals. Nashville was led by forward Filip Forsberg who scored 2 goals in the win.

Today's LIVE Bets:

NCAAB: NC A&T vs. Hofstra - 5:30pm ET

Against the Spread - 👈  Click to get more info on tonights match up

Hofstra -7.5

Analysis:

Hofstra is heavily favored against NC A&T, having recently blowing them out 70-49 by effectively shutting down key player Jahnathan Lamothe and dominating in the paint, on second-chance points, and in rebounding. While Hofstra's offense isn't stellar, NC A&T has one of the CAA's worst offenses, and Hofstra boasts an elite defense, exacerbating the Aggies' struggles. NC A&T's poor record against the spread, particularly as underdogs, combined with recent team turmoil from suspensions and gambling investigations, further reinforces…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NCAAB: Western Michigan vs. Bowling Green - 8:00pm ET

Bowling Green to Win

Analysis:

Bowling Green faces a critical home finale, riding a hot streak of four consecutive wins and seven victories in their last nine games. A key factor in their recent success has been a stifling defense, allowing a mere 61.0 points per game and holding opponents to a 38.4% shooting percentage in those seven wins, demonstrating a clear ability to control the game on the defensive end. Notably, they've already proven their ability to win against this opponent, securing a victory in Kalamazoo earlier in the season. The Falcons boast a veteran-laden roster, highlighted by three players who have surpassed the 1,000-career-point milestone this season, showcasing their experience and scoring prowess. This game carries…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NCAAB: South Dakota vs. North Dakota State - 8:00pm ET

Against the Spread - 👈  Click to get more info on tonights match up

South Dakota +3

Analysis:

The status of NDSU star Jacksen Moni for the Summit League Tournament is currently uncertain, with reports suggesting he will be sidelined due to injury since last playing on Feb. 22. Moni's potential absence would be a significant blow to NDSU, as he's been a dominant force, averaging 20.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. His unique ability to rank within the top six of the league in points, rebounds, assists, and field goal percentage underscores his all-around impact. While official confirmation from the school is lacking, multiple reputable sources are reporting the injury. Adding another layer to this matchup, NDSU recently defeated USD by four points at home in…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NHL: Chicago Blackhawks vs. Utah Hockey Club - 9:30pm ET

Against the Spread - 👈  Click to get more info on tonights match up

Chicago +1.5

Analysis:

Utah's head coach is opting to start Connor Ingram (3.27 GAA), their weaker goalie, against the Blackhawks. Conversely, Chicago is confirmed to start their newly acquired No. 1 goalie, Spencer Knight, who impressed in his debut. The acquisition of Knight in the Seth Jones trade has seemingly paid immediate dividends for the Hawks. Given Knight's strong initial performance, even a decent outing should be sufficient to secure a cover in this matchup. The circumstances suggest a closely contested…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
