Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap
🔥 Dialed in to say the least. Another big night going 6-2 on our selections! That takes us to 15-4 on the week and +11 units.
Lets recap another great night for Sports Corner Daily starting in the NBA where the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Charlotte Hornets 125-110, hitting our Timberwolves -8.5 pick on the game. Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels both chipped in 29 points in the win for the Timberwolves, who have now won 3 straight games to start March. After that, the OKC Thunder beat the Memphis Grizzlies 120-113, hitting our OKC -8 pick. Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous Alexander continues to make his MVP case, scoring 41 points in the win. The Thunder outscored Memphis in every quarter and improve to 51-11 overall on the season. In our final NBA pick of the night, the Detroit Pistons fell to the LA Clippers 123-115, making our ML pick on Detroit a loss. Clippers guard James Harden was unstoppable, scoring 50 points in the win. The Clippers improve to 33-29 on the season and are hanging onto that 8 seed in the western conference.
In some NCAA action last night, #13 Maryland defeated #17 Michigan 71-65, hitting our ML pick on Maryland. Maryland center Derik Queen had 17 points and 12 rebounds in the win for Maryland. After that, Xavier defeated Butler 91-78, hitting our ML pick on Xavier. Xavier improves to 20-10 overall on the season with the win. Next up, Fairleigh Dickinson defeated Stonehill 71-56, hitting our ML pick on FDU. FDU guard Terrance Brown scored 23 points and chipped in 6 assists in the win. After that, Lindenwood defeated Morehead State 73-65, barely missing on our under 133 selection on the game. Our under pick was in a good spot after the first half, but Lindenwood had an offensive explosion scoring 52 points in the second half to kill our chances. In our final selection of the night, Central Connecticut defeated Le Moyne 86-67, hitting our over 144.5 pick. Central Connecticut had a big first half to help our pick hit, scoring 51 points. Central Connecticut improves to 24-6 overall on the season and are 14-2 in conference play.

Golden State -10
Analysis:
The Warriors are a strong bet due to their impressive 9-1 ATS record with Jimmy Butler in the lineup and their motivation to secure a good playoff seed, making them unlikely to ease up against a struggling Eastern Conference team like the Nets, especially after dominating Philadelphia. The Warriors have a +12.5 net rating over the last 10 games, ranking them third in the league, while the Nets are at -6 and ranked 24th, struggling to score while the Warriors have explosive potential. Brooklyn has lost five straight games by at least 8 points, including three consecutive home losses by similar margins, but while the…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

Cleveland State -4
Analysis:
The Horizon League quarterfinal pits No. 2 seed Cleveland State against No. 7 Northern Kentucky, with Cleveland State holding a distinct advantage playing on their home floor. The regular season saw each team successfully defend their home court in their respective matchups, suggesting the importance of location in this rivalry. Northern Kentucky faces a quick turnaround, having just played a game against Detroit earlier in the week. Cleveland State's roster is filled with talent, highlighted by the Horizon League Freshman of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year, in addition to three players earning all-league honors, showcasing their overall strength. While Cleveland State experienced a drop in performance towards the end of the season, they were considered a top team in the league for…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NHL: Seattle Kraken vs. Nashville - 8:00pm ET

Nashville to win
Analysis:
Even though neither Seattle nor Nashville will be competing in the playoffs this year, Nashville emerges as the more promising team in their upcoming game. This is largely due to Seattle's recent decision to trade away key players, a move that strongly suggests the team is entering a rebuilding phase. Such trades often have a negative impact on team morale, and coupled with the fatigue of cross-country travel, Seattle is likely to put forth a diminished effort. In contrast, Nashville has a clear incentive to perform well, seeking to avenge a previous lopsided defeat at the hands of Seattle. Furthermore, Nashville boasts a respectable home record, demonstrating their ability to capitalize on playing in…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Michigan State vs. Iowa - 8:00pm ET
Over/Under - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Under 152
Analysis:
Michigan State's recent success is largely due to a significant improvement in their defensive play, which has proven effective in containing some of the Big Ten's highest-scoring offenses throughout their current five-game winning streak. This defensive focus has had a clear impact on game totals, resulting in lower scores overall. Early in the season, Michigan State's games frequently exceeded 150 points, but this has become a rare occurrence in their last ten games. This trend is further supported by the fact that the 'under' has been the correct bet in a significant majority of Michigan State's conference games. The strength of…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NBA: New York vs. LA Lakers - 10:00pm ET
Against the Spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
LA Lakers -3.5
Analysis:
This line opened at -3 and I expect it to keep moving. The perception of the Knicks as a strong team is overstated. Their previous encounter at Madison Square Garden resulted in a decisive Lakers victory, and it's unlikely the Knicks have found solutions to counter the Lakers' strengths since then. A key factor is the Lakers' defense, which has surged to become one of the NBA's best over the last 15 games. Conversely, the Knicks' offense has become increasingly predictable, making it easier for opponents to defend. Furthermore, the Knicks' defensive rating has slipped to 22nd in the league over the last 15 games, accompanied by a negative net rating, indicating they're being outscored during this period. Their performance as a road underdog is also concerning, with a 3-6 record against the spread, and their overall ATS record in the last eight games is even worse at 1-7. In contrast, the Lakers have been…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
