Sports Corner Daily had a good overall weekend- going 11-8 in our selections. Due to the amount of games, we are going to recap just a few of them and get into tonight's picks. Starting on Friday, we had an NBA matchup of the battle of LA as the Clippers took on the Lakers, with the Lakers winning 106-102, hitting our Lakers ML pick on the game. The Lakers continue to be on fire, now winning 12 of their last 14 games. Luka led all scorers in the game with 31 points.
Moving over to Saturday, we had a college basketball heavy day as March is officially here and brackets are coming soon. #1 Auburn went into Lexington and put a beat down on the Kentucky Wildcats, making our Kentucky +5 pick a loser. Auburn went on a run to end the first half and never looked back, showing everyone why they are the #1 team in the country. More bad news came for the Wildcats after the game as they announced starting forward Jaxson Robinson will miss the rest of the year and needs surgery. Next up, we saw South Carolina beat Arkansas 72-53, hitting our ML selection on South Carolina. This game was never close, as South Carolina started the game off on an 18-3 run. They extended that lead to more than 30 in the second half. Arkansas falls to 17-12 overall on the season and just 6-10 in conference play.
On Sunday, we saw the Boston Celtics get the win over the Denver Nuggets 110-103, hitting our Boston -3 pick on the game. Denver center Nikola Jokic had a great game, scoring 20 points and added 14 rebounds and 9 assists in the loss. Boston improves to 43-18 overall on the season but is still 7.5 games back of first seeded Cleveland in the eastern conference standings. Next, in some college basketball action, the Michigan Wolverines fell to the Illinois Fighting Illini 93-73, failing to hit our ML selection on Michigan. This game was tied up 41-41 with about 16 minutes left before the wheels fell off for Michigan. Illinois improves to 19-11 overall on the season.
Looking forward to tonight’s action, we have another 5 picks for you. Be sure to check out The Full Details and What the Public Thinks on these bets before jumping in. Let’s win some money!

Bethune-Cookman to win
Analysis:
Bethune-Cookman University has won three consecutive games, including a significant upset over league-leader Southern University, positioning themselves competitively to secure a second-place finish in the SWAC standings ahead of the upcoming conference tournament. In contrast, Grambling State is currently mid-table with a 6-9 record and has lost two straight games as they approach their final road contest. Earlier this season, Bethune-Cookman defeated Grambling by six points despite a lackluster performance from their leading scorer, Trey Thomas, showcasing the team’s depth and resilience. With 11 conference wins, Bethune-Cookman has tied a school record, underscoring their growth this season. Statistically, KenPom ranks them 50 spots higher than Grambling nationally, indicating a substantial performance gap, while our model predicts a five-point win for…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: McNeese State U. vs. Stephen F. Austin State U - 7:00pm ET

McNeese -9.5
Analysis:
While McNeese has already secured the Southland regular-season title, I anticipate a noteworthy performance from the Cowboys due to the nature of their opponent. Historically, McNeese has struggled at Stephen F. Austin, losing 14 consecutive games on the Lumberjacks' home court. Earlier this season, the Cowboys faced SFA and won decisively, 79-59, which ultimately led to the firing of head coach Kyle Keller. Following that defeat, associate head coach Tony Jasick took over, initially providing a spark for the Lumberjacks. However, SFA has recently stumbled, dropping three straight games, including two significant losses by 16 and 24 points to teams that are less formidable than McNeese. With this matchup airing on ESPNU, Will Wade's squad is likely motivated to make a strong statement as they aim for a 19-1 finish, which would match SFA's historic record. Ironically, with the…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Howard University vs. SC State University - 7:30pm ET
Against the Spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
SC State -9.5
Analysis:
The separation between the top teams and the rest of the competition in the MEAC is glaring, reminiscent of the expansive Mall in Washington. This trend poses significant challenges for Howard, which has frequently struggled to compete against teams that are firing on all cylinders. This struggle is evident in their loss margins during MEAC play, with four defeats coming by double digits. Notably, SC State handed Howard an 89-66 loss in D.C. just four weeks ago, a game that marked the beginning of a remarkable seven-game winning streak for the Bulldogs, which included an exhilarating victory over Norfolk State last weekend. Prior to defeating the Spartans 91-88, SC State enjoyed a dominant stretch at home in Orangeburg, winning their previous four games by an average of 28 points. The Bulldogs’ explosive guard Omar Crosskey demonstrated his scoring ability in their earlier matchup against Howard, where he erupted for a career-high 27 points. This suggests not only the potential…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NHL: LA Kings vs. Chicago Blackhawks - 8:30pm ET
Against the Spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Chicago +1.5
Analysis:
Could we be on the verge of seeing Spencer Knight make his debut as the goaltender for the Blackhawks? Acquiring Knight along with a future first-round pick from Florida in exchange for the overvalued Seth Jones appears to be a savvy trade for Chicago. Knight definitely represents an upgrade over any of the current goalies on the roster, injecting some much-needed talent into the team's net. Regardless of who starts in this matchup, it's a compelling scenario; the Kings find themselves mired in a three-game losing streak and are now playing in their third city in just four nights. Although Los Angeles has only three regulation losses at home, their road performance has been concerning, with a poor record of 1-7 in their past eight away games. This raises significant questions about…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: UCLA vs. Northwestern - 9:00pm ET
Over/Under - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Over 132.5
Analysis:
Despite recent trends in the Big Ten leaning towards unders, the total for this matchup seems particularly low given both teams' scoring capabilities. UCLA has only faced one total below this all season in conference play, and Northwestern boasts an impressive record of 4-1 when the total is set at 136 or lower. While UCLA has encountered difficulties outside the West Coast in conference games, they still average 67 points in such contests, with their Big Ten road games averaging a total of 142 points. Northwestern similarly thrives at home, averaging 72 points per game in Big Ten play and achieving a 7-3 record to the over in home games. The Bruins have gone over in three of their last four road games and maintain a 6-3 record on the road concerning overs. Furthermore, Northwestern is strong at hitting the over, with a 14-4 record in Big Ten games, including an impressive 14-5 when benefiting…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
