Lets recap a few of our selections from Friday and the weekend, starting on Friday in some college basketball. South Dakota defeated North Dakota State 85-84 covering our South Dakota +3 pick on the game. South Dakota guard Chase Forte scored 28 points in the win. South Dakota overcame a 6 point deficit at halftime to win the game. Unfortunately South Dakota lost on Saturday, ending their chance to win the conference tournament and get a bid to the big dance. After that, Western Michigan defeated Bowling Green 64-63, narrowly missing our ML selection on Bowling Green to win the game. Western Michigan made a free throw with 2 seconds left to get the win. Bowling Green falls to 14-17 overall on the season.

On Saturday we had a ton of college basketball games as the regular season came to a close and we move to conference tournament week before the brackets come out next Sunday. Arkansas ended the season strong, defeating #25 Mississippi State 93-92 and hitting our ML selection on Arkansas. Arkansas has turned their season around after starting out 0-5 in conference play and ends the season winning 4 of their last 5 games. Forward Jonas Aidoo scored 21 points and chipped in 10 rebounds in the win. After that, #13 Maryland defeated Northwestern 74-61, a couple baskets short of our over 141 selection on the game. Maryland had a balanced attack in this one, with all 5 starters scoring in double figures. Maryland finishes the season on a strong run, winning 13 of their final 16 games, and are projected to get a 4 seed in the tournament according to ESPN. Next up, we saw Kansas get the win over #24 Arizona 83-76, hitting our Kansas -2.5 pick on the game. Kansas center Hunter Dickinson was a monster in this one, scoring 33 points and adding 10 rebounds. It was a big win for Kansas who had lost 2 straight games, but now gets a nice win heading into the big 12 conference tournament.

NCAAB: Oakland U vs. Robert Morris - 7:00pm ET

Robert Morris -3

Analysis:

Robert Morris University (RMU), coached by Andy Toole, boasts significant experience, having made multiple appearances in the Big Dance while competing in the Northeast Conference (NEC). Their readiness for the Horizon tournament was demonstrated by a convincing 83-62 victory over Wright State in the quarterfinals, showcasing their trademark balanced scoring with five players hitting double digits, including senior guard Kam Woods, who scored 19 points and highlighted his resurgence after a tumultuous career that saw him average 17.3 points per game two seasons ago at North Carolina A&T. In contrast, Greg Kampe's Oakland team enters the tournament with some momentum, winning four of their last five games, including a key road win against Milwaukee in the quarterfinals. Yet, Oakland faces challenges due to their inconsistency in three-point shooting, having struggled with a low conversion rate of 30.4% this season. As RMU looks to capitalize on its depth and… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NHL: Edmonton Oilers. vs. Buffalo Sabres - 7:00pm ET

Edmonton -1.5

Analysis:

The Buffalo Sabres find themselves in a familiar situation, grappling with inconsistency as they enter their game against the Edmonton Oilers on the heels of a six-game losing streak. This pattern of erratic performances has become a hallmark of their season, leaving fans and analysts alike wondering what might spark a turnaround. Coach Lindy Ruff appears to be sticking with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen as the starting goaltender, but Luukkonen's struggles reflect the team's overall difficulties; he has not only lost all four of his starts in March but also posted a concerning 4.40 goals-against average and a subpar .853 save percentage during that stretch. Facing the Oilers is particularly daunting, as they seem to have regained their form after defeating formidable opponents in the Montreal Canadiens and Dallas Stars. The Oilers showcased their resilience by securing an overtime victory against Montreal and followed up with an impressive start against Dallas, racing to a 5-1 lead before ultimately securing the win. For the Sabres, this matchup could serve as a crucial test; they must find a way to stabilize their play as they contend with a rejuvenated Edmonton team looking to solidify… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NBA: LA Lakers vs. Brooklyn Nets - 7:30pm ET

Against the Spread - 👈  Click to get more info on tonights match up

Brooklyn +6

Analysis:

While it may not be the worst situation for the Brooklyn Nets that their leading scorer, Cam Thomas, will miss tonight’s game due to a hamstring injury, his absence is notable considering the team's recent struggles. Since his return to the lineup on February 28, the Nets have not won a single game, posting a disappointing record of five consecutive losses. This is a stark contrast to their performance before Thomas rejoined the squad, during which they achieved an impressive 8-4 record. Coach Jordi Fernandez effectively utilized the team's assets during that time, implementing a deliberate playing style that allowed Brooklyn to flourish, enabling them to secure victories over strong opponents like the Miami Heat and the Houston Rockets on two occasions. Now, the Nets face the Los Angeles Lakers, who will be missing LeBron James due to a groin injury, which could play in Brooklyn's favor as they hope to capitalize on this opportunity. The Lakers, who recently saw their eight-game winning streak disrupted by the Boston Celtics, are also looking to rebound. For the Nets to turn their fortunes around, they must find a way to regain the chemistry and effectiveness that…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NCAAB: Youngstown State vs. Cleveland State - 9:30pm ET

Against the Spread - 👈  Click to get more info on tonights match up

Cleveland St -2

Analysis:

EJ Farmer, the senior captain of Youngstown State, has been absent for the past four games due to an unspecified injury, contributing to the Penguins' struggles with a record of 1-3 against the spread (ATS) during this stretch. He did not dress for the team's Horizon League quarterfinal victory on Thursday, raising concerns about the team’s prospects moving forward. This season, Youngstown State has had mixed results against Cleveland State, winning their earlier matchup when Farmer was on the court and scoring 10 points with 3 rebounds while committing no turnovers, but losing when he was not available. As the Penguins prepare for Monday's semifinal, Farmer's availability remains uncertain, putting extra pressure on the team to perform. Adding to Youngstown State's challenges is Cleveland State's strong defensive capability; they lead the Horizon League in forcing turnovers, averaging 15.5 per game. This ability to disrupt their opponents will likely play a crucial role in the game in Indianapolis, especially if…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NHL: Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Utah Hockey Club - 10:00pm ET

Toronto to win

Analysis:

The Toronto Maple Leafs have had a tough week, facing three straight losses and being outscored 12-6 in defeats against the Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche to start their road trip. However, it’s worth noting that prior to this slump, they were on a hot streak, winning five consecutive games and eight of their last nine. Goaltender Anthony Stolarz has been a positive aspect for the team, boasting a solid record of 13-6-3 with a 2.34 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage this season, showing he can still provide stability in net. Additionally, the Leafs' offensive firepower remains evident, as Mitch Marner has found the back of the net three times in the last two games. Meanwhile, the Utah Hockey Club, which lost narrowly to Toronto 3-2 on November 24, has surprisingly performed better on the road with a record of 16-12-4 compared to just 12-13-6 at home in Salt Lake City. This trend could impact the upcoming matchup, as Toronto will need to leverage their scoring ability and work…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
