The Cavs continue their awesome season and now sit at 46-10 overall. Cavs guard Donovan Mitchell scored 27 points in the win. Next up, we saw the Memphis Grizzlies get the win over the Orlando Magic 105-104, failing to cover our -2.5 selection on the Grizzlies. Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane hit 2 late free throws to give the Grizzlies the lead and the Magic were unable to answer. Memphis sits at 37-20 overall on the season, tied with the Denver Nuggets for second place in the West. In our last NBA selection on Friday night, the Golden State Warriors got the win over the Sacramento Kings 132-108, hitting our Warriors -2 pick on the game. The Warriors are now winners of 5 of their last 6 games and were led in this game by forward Moses Moody who scored 22 points. In some college basketball action on Friday night, the Michigan State Spartans defeated the Michigan Wolverines 75-62, failing to hit our Michigan -3 pick on the game. Michigan State has now won 3 straight games and are currently a 4 seed according to ESPN bracketology.
In some wild Saturday games, Oregon pulled off a huge overtime upset win over #11 Wisconsin, erasing a 17 point lead Wisconsin had in the first half, and blowing our Wisconsin -8.5 selection. Oregon was led by center Nate Bittle who scored 23 points. Next, we saw the Oklahoma Sooners pull off another upset, defeating the #21 Mississippi State Bulldogs 93-87 and killing our ML selection on Mississippi State. Oklahoma, a bubble team currently according to ESPN, needed the win badly and improved to 17-10 on the season. Oklahoma guard Jeremiah Fears scored 27 points in the win. Next, the Evansville Purple Aces fell to the UIC Flames 82-77, with Evansville covering our +7.5 pick on the game. UIC improves to 16-12 on the season and are 9-9 in conference play. Following that, South Carolina State got the overtime win over Delaware State 94-88 in overtime, hitting our over 150.5 pick on the game. The overtime period was a high scoring one, as SCST scored 20 points in the 5 minute period. SCST was led by guard Mitchell Taylor who scored 23 points off the bench. In our final college basketball pick on Saturday, the Arkansas Razorbacks got the upset win over the Missouri Tigers 92-85, with Missouri failing to cover our -1.5 pick on the game. Arkansas, another bubble team according to ESPN, needed the resume building win badly and got it, outscoring Missouri by 14 points in the second half to secure the victory. Arkansas had a balanced attack in this one with 5 players scoring in double figures. Arkansas improves to 16-11 on the season overall.
In some NHL action on Saturday, the Detroit Red Wings fell to the Minnesota Wild 4-3 in overtime, killing our Detroit ML pick. NBA: Denver Nuggets vs. Indiana Pacers - 7:00pm ET
Against the spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Indiana +5.5
Analysis:
We recommend examining the opponents the Nuggets faced during their recent nine-game winning streak, which ended with a disappointing loss to the Lakers. Their victories included two each against weaker teams like Charlotte, Portland, and New Orleans, along with wins over struggling Philadelphia, Orlando, and Phoenix, making it less surprising that they achieved a favorable record against such opponents. In contrast, the Pacers have had a strong start after the All-Star break, with impressive victories over the Grizzlies and Clippers, contributing to a 16-5 record since then. Under Rick Carlisle, the Pacers have benefited from diverse scoring contributions and have maintained over 50% shooting from the field in their wins, indicating efficient offense. This contrast highlights significant differences in each team's context: the Nuggets’ success against lower-tier opponents raises concerns about…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NBA: Brooklyn Nets vs. Washington - 7:00pm ET
Money Line - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Brooklyn to win
Analysis:
The Nets are currently on a strong playoff push, having won 7 of their last 9 games, including three consecutive victories on the road. Given their recent performance, they are likely to cover the spread in this matchup, as they have done so in 6 of their last 8 road games, with five of those wins coming by margins of 8.5 points or more. Overall, the Nets boast an impressive 19-9-1 record against the spread (ATS) on the road and are 11-4 ATS when they have a rest advantage, indicating their ability to perform well in favorable conditions. While the Wizards have shown some improvement lately, they have struggled significantly in back-to-back games, failing to secure a victory in their last nine attempts and suffering defeats by margins of 15, 28, 25, 28, 6, 14, 23, 38, and 14 points. Notably, the Nets did lose…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Northwestern State Demons vs. Southeastern Louisiana Lions - 7:00pm ET
Money Line - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
SE Louisiana to win
Analysis:
We strongly favor teams competing in their home finales, and this matchup for Southeastern Louisiana is particularly significant as they are striving to secure a second-place finish in the Southland Conference, which would grant them a double-bye in the upcoming tournament. Jakevion Buckley has been exceptional, winning the Southland Player of the Week Award for the past two weeks and likely contending for a third consecutive honor; he showcased his talent in a recent win against East Texas A&M with 21 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals, marking his fifth straight game scoring at least 20 points. This momentum could be crucial for the Lions as they make their late-season push. In contrast, Northwestern State is situated in the middle of the league standings and faces the challenges of a back-to-back road trip after securing a win against an underwhelming New Orleans team. They previously lost to Southeastern Louisiana by just one point on January 18, which may…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NHL: San Jose Sharks vs. Winnipeg Jets - 7:30pm ET
Against the spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
San Jose +2.5
Analysis:
It’s easy to see why the Jets are significant favorites at home against the Sharks, especially with San Jose playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. However, there’s potential for a letdown from Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck, who is considered a top contender for the Vezina Trophy. Despite his accolades, Hellebuyck has faced criticism for not securing victory in crucial games, a narrative that was exacerbated after his team lost 3-2 in overtime to Canada in the Four Nations Final, despite an outstanding performance on his part. Additionally, Winnipeg's top defenseman, Josh Morrissey, missed that game—along with the team's first contest after the break—due to illness, and his status for this matchup remains uncertain. Without their leading blueliner, the Jets’ defensive stability could be compromised. If the Sharks manage to score first in this contest, it could markedly shift the momentum…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Florida A&M vs. Alabama A&M University - 8:00pm ET
Against the spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Florida A&M +1
Analysis:
Florida A&M is currently on an impressive run, having covered the spread in 12 consecutive games and winning nine of their last ten outright before experiencing a narrow 1-point loss to Alabama State over the weekend. A standout performer for the Rattlers has been Charlotte transfer guard Sterling Young, who is averaging 16.1 points per game and has scored 22 or more points in three of the last four contests, making him a vital asset to their offense. The Rattlers dominated Alabama A&M earlier this month, securing a decisive 95-79 victory in Tallahassee while shooting an impressive 53% from the field, showcasing their offensive efficiency and ability to control the game. In stark contrast, the Bulldogs have struggled significantly, losing nine of their last twelve SWAC games, with their lone victories coming against the weaker teams in the conference—Prairie View, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and Mississippi Valley State. Their shooting woes, as evidenced by their subpar field goal percentage of just under 41%, have plagued Alabama A&M throughout the season, hindering…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Morgan St. University vs. Norfolk State University - 8:00pm ET
Over/Under - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Over 157
Analysis:
Overs have been popular in the MEAC, and the upcoming matchup between Morgan State and Norfolk State is expected to continue this trend, as both teams are likely to prioritize offense over defense. Morgan State has recorded the over in 8 of their last 9 road games and holds an impressive 8-2 record in overs when at equal rest; they rank among the top two scoring teams in the MEAC while also struggling defensively, having scored over 92 points in two of their last four contests. Specifically, they are 8-2 in overs when the total is set at 155 or higher. Norfolk State has also consistently hit the over, achieving it in 4 of their last 5 home games with significant margins—by 31, 13, 15.5, and 25 points—and averaging 82 points per game during that stretch, resulting in games with an average total of 160 points. Their 6-2 record for overs at home underscores their offensive strength. In their previous…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Howard University vs. Coppin State University - 8:00pm ET
Over/Under - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Over 150.5
Analysis:
It’s difficult to understand why the total for this game has dropped. Howard has been on a scoring tear, going 12-1 on overs in their last 13 games, with 8 of those overs exceeding the total by 4.5 points or more. The Bison have also performed well in the MEAC, boasting a 9-1 record on overs, with the average total in conference games sitting at 154. As favorites, they are 9-2 in overs, and when the total is set between 146 and 153, Howard has an impressive 8-1 record for going over. They lead the MEAC in scoring but rank as the second-worst defensive team, which contributes to their high-scoring games. In their first matchup against Coppin State, the game closed at a total of 147.5 but ended up totaling 165 points, highlighting both teams' offensive capabilities. Coppin State has also shown some scoring potential, going 6-3 on overs in their last nine games while allowing an alarming…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Michigan vs. Nebraska - 8:00pm ET
Money Line - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Michigan to win
Analysis:
This situation raises significant red flags, as it features a team vying for the top seed in the conference receiving points against a struggling Big Ten bottom-dweller. The Huskers have lost 3 of their last 5 games at home, including disheartening defeats to lowly Rutgers and USC within the past month. When facing top teams in the conference, Nebraska has been swept by Maryland and suffered significant blowouts against Michigan State, Purdue, and Wisconsin. While they did manage to beat Illinois, that victory came against a team in decline. In contrast, Michigan has established a solid 6-2 record on the road in conference play and has yet to lose back-to-back games in the Big Ten this season, providing them with a strong motivation following a recent tough loss to Michigan State. Nebraska's performance has dipped, with a conference point differential of -5.2, making it the…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
