Let's dive into yesterday's picks, where Sports Corner Daily went 2-2 on the night. Starting in the NBA, the Boston Celtics cruised to a 124-104 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, hitting our Boston -7 selection. Boston outscored Philly by at least 8 points in each of the first three quarters in the game to build up a 26 point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Celtics guard Payton Pritchard led all scorers in the game with 28 points, hitting 8 threes throughout the game. The Celtics improve to 40-16 on the season and sit in second place in the East.
In some college basketball action last night, North Carolina A&T got the upset win over Campbell 53-50, making our Campbell -4.5 selection a loss. Campbell was looking good after the first half, leading by 7 and holding North Carolina A&T to 18 points total. Unfortunately for us North Carolina A&T rallied in the second, outscoring Campbell by 10 points and getting the win. North Carolina A&T gets their 6th win of the season and sits at 2-13 in conference play.
Next up, we saw the Idaho Vandals defeat the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 83-78, blowing our Northern Arizona ML selection. This game was a tale of two different halves, with Idaho outscoring Northern Arizona by 18 in the first half and then getting outscored by 13 in the second half. Unfortunately for our selection, Idaho did just enough to get the win. Idaho improves to 12-15 on the season.
In our last selection of the night, the Maryland Terrapins defeated the USC Trojans 88-71, hitting our over 152.5 selection on the game. Maryland had a huge second half for us, scoring 51 points to secure our over pick. Maryland improves to 21-6 on the season and is in line for a good seeding in March Madness as it currently stands. Maryland freshman center Derik Queen had an impressive 13 points and 17 rebound game.

NBA: New York Knicks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers - 7:00pm ET

Over 239
Analysis:
When these two teams face back-to-back games, they tend to showcase high-scoring performances, and I anticipate this trend to continue. The Knicks have been impressive with a 7-1 record to the over in situations with no rest, while the Cavaliers follow closely behind at 8-3. Heading into Thursday's games, the Cavs had a remarkable 34-16 over record as favorites, and the Knicks were 5-0-1 when playing as underdogs. Prior to Thursday, the Knicks boasted a 20-10 over record with equal rest, while the Cavaliers were situated at 20-11. The Knicks were on a scoring spree, hitting the over in six consecutive games and eight of their last nine, allowing an average of 121 points during that stretch. The Cavaliers exhibited similar trends, going over in six of their last eight and 11 of their last 16 games. Notably, Cleveland was 32-12 over when playing outside their division, while the Knicks stood at 26-16-1 in such matchups. The Cavaliers have been on fire offensively, averaging 127 points per game over their…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NBA: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Orlando Magic - 7:00pm ET

Memphis -2.5
Analysis:
We’re placing this wager with confidence as the Grizzlies seem to be building momentum after a sluggish first half and are stepping up their game against the Pacers. While some may overlook Memphis due to the lack of star players compared to other elite teams, we expect them to continue covering the spread effectively, evidenced by their 7-2 record against the spread (ATS) in no-rest scenarios this season. Their fast-paced style of play presents significant challenges for opponents, especially in back-to-back games, leading to an impressive 11-2 ATS record when facing a rest disadvantage. Additionally, the Grizzlies entered Thursday with a strong 16-4 ATS record against Eastern Conference teams, highlighting their competitive edge. In contrast, the Magic, who had begun to find their rhythm before the break, have struggled lately, posting a disappointing 7-15-1 ATS record as underdogs, including just 2-4-1 as home underdogs, and a 5-13-1 ATS record against…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Michigan State vs. Michigan - 8:00pm ET
Against the spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Michigan -3
Analysis:
This highly anticipated matchup is sure to attract attention, including from Gretchen Whitmer, as Michigan State has faltered recently with a 3-3 record in their last six games following an impressive 18-2 start, while Michigan is riding high with six consecutive victories leading into tonight's showdown at Fritz Crisler Arena. Tom Izzo may find his Spartans challenged at a particularly tough moment, as Dusty May has revitalized Michigan's performance after a brief lull in January. A significant factor in Michigan's success is the effective screen-and-roll partnership between seven-foot transfers Danny Wolf and Vladislav Goldin, which is causing significant problems for Michigan's defense. Moreover, with three other transfers averaging double-digit scoring, the Wolverines have built a well-rounded offensive unit. In contrast, Michigan State is struggling with fundamental issues, particularly their dismal three-point shooting at just 29%, limiting their offensive options and making it easier for opponents to…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NBA: Golden State vs. Sacramento - 10:00pm ET
Against the spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Golden St. -2
Analysis:
Our enthusiasm for backing the Warriors has only grown since the Jimmy Butler trade, and there's no reason to shift our support now. After four games into the Butler era with Golden State, the Warriors have impressively gone 3-1, all on the road, showcasing their resilience and adaptability. Butler has seamlessly integrated into the lineup, averaging nearly 32 minutes of playing time per game while contributing 21.3 points per game. His presence has revitalized the offense, providing Steph Curry with a legitimate scoring partner once again, as Curry himself is averaging 31 points per game alongside Butler. This dynamic duo not only enhances the Warriors' offensive capabilities but also puts additional pressure on opposing defenses, making it harder for them to focus solely on Curry. In contrast, Sacramento has struggled to find consistency under interim coach Doug Christie, and their recent trade involving De'Aaron Fox has not yielded the desired results, especially when compared to the positive impact Butler has had…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
