NCAAF and NFL action deliver mixed results—tonight’s live bets inside.

Standing Record 80-32-2

Sports Corner Daily’s 👀 Results from 12/14/2024-12/15/2024

Winners - 4

Losers - 4

Sports Corner Daily had a split weekend going 4-4 overall in our weekend selections but improved our overall record of 80 wins and 32 losses. Sports Corner Daily had our first money line selection loss in 7 days but finished 11-1 on those picks overall for the week.

In college football on Saturday the Commander-in-Chief's trophy was a blowout. Navy came out and put the first points on the board and didn't look back, throwing for almost 400 yards and winning the game 31-13, hitting the over easily. In the Celebration Bowl Jackson St surprised our experts and took it to South Carolina St, winning 28-7. It was never close, with South Carolina St not scoring till the 4th quarter after the game was already well out of hand.

Over in the NFL, we had a great slate of games as teams are fighting for the chance to make the playoffs. The Bengals kept their playoff hopes alive rallying from an early deficit to beat the Titans 37-27. The Saints almost pulled off a huge upset but failed on a last second 2pt conversion to lose to the Commanders 20-19. The Ravens absolutely dominated the Giants and Lamar Jackson is making a late push for another MVP award accounting for 5 touchdowns on the day. The Chargers absolutely fell apart in the second half and ended up getting blown out by the Buccaneers. The Bucs outscored the Chargers 27-0 in the second half. And in a game with no playoff implications, Aaron Rodgers led the Jets on a late touchdown drive to secure the win and cover the spread, winning 32-25 against the Jaguars.

Tonight's LIVE Bets:

NFL: Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota -6.5

Analysis:

The Bears are still seeking their first road win of the season, suffering a significant loss to San Francisco (38-13) last Sunday. They have only two away victories in the past two years, with one occurring on a Monday night. This game marks their third consecutive road trip, and while coaching changes can lead to improvement, Chicago struggled under interim coach Thomas Brown in their last game. Meanwhile, the Vikings have lost only once at home—a close game against the strong Detroit Lions—and QB Sam Darnold has shown marked improvement since his arrival in Minnesota. The public also likes the Vikings to cover, coming in strong at 78% in favor of them covering.

NBA: Chicago Bulls @ Toronto Raptors

Under 238.5

Analysis:

The Bulls are known for their offensive strength, but they have gone 6-1 to the under in their last seven games against bottom 10 teams and are under in three of their last five overall, despite rising totals. The Raptors tend to play at a slower pace and have hit the under in 13 of their last 18 games, with all those unders coming at least 3.5 points below the total. They are also under in eight of their last 11 games, and the current total is the highest for any Raptors game this season. Sports Corner Daily will be riding with the Public on the under here. 69% of tonight's plays are on the under to hold.

NBA: Utah Jazz @ L.A. Clippers

L.A. Clippers - 8

Analysis:

The Clippers excel against weaker teams, particularly at home, where they have covered the spread in seven of their last 11 games by five points or more. They have been favored by eight points or more only four times, winning their last three by significant margins (22, 25, and 11 points). They previously defeated the Jazz by over 11 points and have a strong defensive rating at home, while the Jazz struggle defensively, allowing over 122 points in seven of their last 11 games. The Jazz are 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games and rank 25th in the NBA for road performance. The public is also in favor of the Clippers to cover at 67%.
