After a somewhat disappointing Monday night, Sports Corner Daily turns it around and goes 2-1 for the night on our picks and improves to 8 in a row on ML picks. The only loss of the night came in the big time NBA matchup with OKC making a statement at home against the Dallas Mavericks. This one wasn't particularly close with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 39 points and reminding everyone why he might be this years MVP.
In college basketball last night Arkansas won out right against 14th ranked Michigan in the Jimmy V Classic. Michigan started out hot, taking a 15 point lead early but Calipari’s Razorbacks battled back and cut the lead to 4 by halftime. Arkansas went on a 10-0 run to start the second half and never looked back. It was a very impressive win for Arkansas who has been battling injuries to start the season and are finally showing flashes of their preseason hype. Arkansas continues to dominate in the second half of games and came through on our +5 pick.
In some NHL action Edmonton took down an injured Tampa Bay team 2-1. Edmonton has now won three straight and 6 of their last 7 games. Edmonton scored a goal in both the first and second periods in the win. Sports Corner Daily continues to have success with our moneyline picks and looks to continue that tonight.
✅ Arkansas +5 - Win
❌ Dallas +4.5 - Lost
✅ Edmonton to win - Win
Tonight's LIVE Bets:
NBA: Golden State @ Houston
Houston to Win
Analysis:
Houston is looking to end its 15-game losing streak against the Warriors, the longest active streak between two franchises. The Rockets have lost both encounters this season but face the Warriors, who are struggling with six losses in their last eight games and may be without key players Andrew Wiggins and Moses Moody. Houston's Fred VanVleet is expected to play after missing a recent game, and forward Tari Eason has cleared concussion protocol and will return after a two-game absence. The public is also on Houston to win with 59% riding with the Rockets.
NHL: New York Rangers @ Buffalo Sabres
NY Rangers to win
Analysis:
The Rangers suffered two tough losses in a row, notably blowing a 3-1 lead against Seattle and an unacceptable defeat to Chicago. With Buffalo on a seven-game losing streak, including six straight at home and missing key player Rasmus Dahlin due to injury, this matchup appears to be an opportunity for the Rangers to rebound. Notably, NYR's Igor Shesterkin has a strong record against the Sabres, with a 9-2-2 career record, a 2.29 GAA, and a .921 save percentage.
NCAAB: Highlanders @ Hornets
Delaware State to win
Analysis:
NJIT and Delaware State are both struggling teams, with NJIT particularly failing to secure road wins despite a challenging schedule and having only three players with prior Division I experience. Meanwhile, Delaware State remains unbeaten at home, mainly against lesser-known opponents. The public is Heavy on Delaware State with 89% coming in favor of the Hornets.
