Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap
We locked in another 2 wins going 2-0 on the day yesterday picking up 2 more units on the week. We couldn't agree on additional plays so we sat tight on the additional picks on Winible yesterday. Sometimes less is more!
✅ MLB - NY Yankees +1.5 - Win
✅ NBA - LA Lakers Over 228.5 - Win
First… We kick things off today with an early game in MLB at 2:10pm ET so be sure to lock in early. Let’s take a quick look at our two plays from yesterday. Starting in the NBA where the Golden State Warriors defeated the LA Lakers 123-116, hitting our over 228.5 pick on the game. Steph Curry was a man on a mission last night, scoring 37 points in the win. Golden State has now won an impressive 18 of their last 22 games and have improved to 45-31 overall on the season. They are currently the 5 seed in the West and in line for a series against the Lakers in the first round, a series that would definitely excite a lot of basketball fans.
In some baseball action, the New York Yankees started out hot and held off a late flurry by the Arizona Diamondbacks to secure the victory 9-7, hitting our Yankees +1.5 selection. Aaron Judge had 3 hits, including 1 homerun, that in total brought in 4 runs for the Yankees. It was a much needed win for the Yankees that had dropped two games to the Diamondbacks already in April and the win avoided the sweep.

Boston to win
Analysis:
While I generally favor teams playing in their home openers unless there’s a strong reason not to, I see no such reason here. On the field, Boston's Rafael Devers, who has struggled significantly to start the season, may have turned a corner with two hits against Baltimore on Thursday; given his perfect 2-for-2 record against Cardinals starter Erick Fedde, he could be poised for a breakout performance. Additionally, I have confidence in Boston pitcher Walker Buehler this season, especially as he comes back from Tommy John surgery and looks to prove himself for a lucrative contract. Although his…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

Philadelphia +1.5
Analysis:
While I doubt the unbeaten Dodgers will maintain their perfect record throughout the season, it’s worth noting that this will be their first experience in the east coast. Although an April 4th game may not seem crucial in the grand scheme of things, the atmosphere in Philadelphia is sure to be electric, especially with the "Beat LA" sentiment resonating in the crowd, even if it’s a classic Boston phrase. The absence of Freddie Freeman does weaken the Dodgers’ lineup, exposing them to potential vulnerabilities that might not have been as pronounced with him in the lineup. In contrast, the Phillies boast an exciting new weapon in left-handed pitcher Jesus Luzardo, who has shown tremendous strikeout ability—he fanned 11 batters in his season debut, showcasing a dominating presence on the mound. It's fair to…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NBA: Utah vs. Indiana - 1 Unit - 7:00pm ET

Indiana -15.5
Analysis:
Utah is facing a significant crisis, having lost seven consecutive games and seventeen of their last eighteen, with recent defeats by margins of 26, 22, 29, 37, 36, and 38 points. This dire situation has been exacerbated by the absence of key players such as Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, Jordan Clarkson, and Walker Kessler, leaving four of the Jazz's top six scorers unavailable and severely impacting both their offensive and defensive performances. In contrast, the Indiana Pacers are currently eyeing playoff contention and are motivated to secure their standing, particularly as they aim to maintain their fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Their recent offensive capabilities were illustrated by a remarkable output of 162 points against the Wizards, indicating that they have the…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NBA: Oklahoma City vs. Houston - 1 Unit - 8:00pm ET
Against the Spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
OKC -7
Analysis:
The Oklahoma City Thunder are undoubtedly the top team in the NBA right now, riding a remarkable streak of covering the spread in 11 consecutive games and 14 out of their last 15. Impressively, they have surpassed the spread by 7.5 points or more in eight of those games, indicating not just winning but dominating performances. Additionally, Oklahoma City has a strong track record against the Houston Rockets, winning 7 of the last 10 matchups, often with significant margins—by 11, 15, 19, 17, 13, 37, and 32 points. This trend reflects their tendency to elevate their game against opponents perceived as challengers. Conversely, the Rockets are struggling, having failed to cover the spread in four of their last five home games and managing to cover just three of their last…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
